I can't get no,, satisfaction,,,,,,,,

OK, let’s hear it for the good guys!
From about noon yesterday, the Prison Bitch song was stuck in my head. O.J. will spend at least 9 years in the slammer. Not a bad start. What will happen? Will he do his time and be released? Will he flip out and kill himself? Will he make a jailhouse confession to his cellmate that he did in fact commit double murder? And what will become of his golf clubs? Stay tuned!

King Ralph had the charges read to him yesterday. Maybe things will go in the right direction?

Here is a couple shots of our future shop-keeper heartbreaker, Reina.

And last night’s meal, Greg’s double size pork chops, smashed pertaters and gravy, and broccoli with cheese. That will make one fine looking turd!
I didn't say that out loud,, did I?

Buy me a beer and thank me later!

What was that,,,,? I did'nt see it,,,

RING,, RING,,
“yellow”
“good morning, this is Dr. I. Forgethername, from the vets office”
“oh yes,, Fuzznutts arrived OK?”
“yes, Fuzznutts is here.”
“do you know what is wrong with him, yet?”
“this cat is blind!

So goes the conversation with the Belize city vet. We knew he had trouble seeing some things, and it seemed to be getting worse, but we didn’t want to hear it from the vet! That makes it so,, official.
After racking up some more frequent flier miles, he is back home and seems purr-fectly content. He gets around fine, jumps up to his chow hall, goes outside and stares at birds, and he will be just fine.
But if you see him and he doesn’t respond like he should, don’t call him a prick, he’s handicapped!
Bet he can still find Corn-Dog Ron’s leg tho!

For those who are interested, Musa was lead into court yesterday by an army of cops! He was released on 200,00$ bail and told the news afterward that he is not worried and that it is all the UDP’s fault for EVERYTHING!
Next up,, King Ralph!

You have to go to court to find out what happened.

MY EYES,, MY EYES,,,,,,

And yet another cold, dreary, morning with slight rain. If you’re wanting some sun, forget it!
Looks like today poor ‘ol Fuzznutts gets another trip to the vet. For some reason unknown to us, his right eye has it’s ‘membrane’ extending across it about 1/3 of the way. Has been 3 days now and all we can do is pack his suitcase and fly him to BZ city. I spoke with them on the phone and it sounds like there may be some dirt or something irritating it but they need to see it, obviously. Fuzz doesn’t seem to have the sharpest vision for a cat. He already bumps into stuff and can’t see a piece of food if it’s right at his nose. Maybe he needs bifocals? Anyway, he is realy bumping into crap now that he is down to 1-1/3 eye! He fell off the deck a few nights ago. Something spooked him out and he started to freak, backing up, up, up, up, and ooooooooooooovvvvvvvveeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Normally that would have been a piece of cake for a cat as it is all nice soft sand down below. But he had the unfortunate luck of picking the one spot on the deck where if he went over he would land on a case of beer. Ouch!
So,, he’s fine that way, but he gets a plane flight today.

I saw on the news last night that Musa and Fonseca will be arraigned in court! Musa today and Ralph on Friday. The charges will be theft of 20 million bucks!
Now, as much as I would like to see it, we all know neither of them are going to Hattieville. My guess is at most they receive some sort of fine or penalty. I would not mind seeing their bank accounts emptied! Along with some serious public humiliation.

I wonder if the un-earthing of the God Bung-holy-o had gotten things stirred up at the prosecutors office!
So even tho it’s early, and OJ has not been back to court yet, I think you can now listen to the new song in the juke box. Look for the title “Prison Bitch”. Sing along,, you know the words!

Sandy, someone 'straightened' the road back to your place. It does'nt go round the power pole any more.

The last words I remember last night are, “Hold my beer and watch this!”

As a layer of fine dust settles all over the penninsula,,,,,,

Not as cold this morning, but pretty dreary lookin. Got some rain last night, should knock down the dust for a few hours, at most.
Speaking of dust, just when I thought things were to begin to look up, I can tell now that things are going to get much worse before they start to really look up! I’m talkin bout the road and all it’s construction traffic. The standard daily, and I mean DAILY construction traffic has spiked in the last few weeks. Maybe I’m wrong but it seems that way. Why? I dunno. Maybe the developers were waiting for hurricane season to end so as not to wipe out their dreams? And I believe we have reached the point where construction workers now outnumber the residents of the peninsula!
And what better time to add in the road paving crews? Those poor guys will be trying to pave a road all the while will be the dump trucks, cement trucks, flatbeds, trailers with mangrove removers, dredgers, trailers with sky-tracks, buses full of Spanish work crews, and all the other traffic parading thru their job site. We may actually see grid-lock on the road!
I haven’t been south for a few days, but last trip saw the area near Playa D Pirates being worked on. Am told they want that straightaway done by Xmas. You would not believe how wide it is! At first I thought they were adding an HOV lane! Or a passing lane for the cement trucks and busses (to pass, not be passed,, silly). But I hear now there will be deep culverts along the side like thru Cocoplum road.
Makes sense as that area floods out pretty bad. I am anxious to see what all is to be done, where they widen and where they don’t, where the sidewalks will be, and of course the bumps!
Town day tomorrow, I’ll try to get some shots of the progress.
23 expected months till complete. There will be plenty of Kodak moments!

Over in the juke box, I added a little Xmas tune, just to get you into the same holiday spirit as me.
And one also dedicated to our dear friend, OJ Simpson. But you can’t open, er, listen to it till Friday afternoon, after he is officially told he will rot out his remaining life in a Nevada State Prison!

Yep, in case you have not been keeping up, they hand him his sentence Friday. Smart, lawyerly types say it will be a bad one for the Juice! He he he!
As for our own notorious criminal, still no arrest of Musa? I can’t decide if they are just chickenshits, Musa is more ‘connected’ than Barrow, the new GOB doesn’t want to slam the cookie jar lid shut while they are prowling the kitchen, or they just don’t have the proper evidence, which is hard to believe.
Musa even came out and basically dared Barrow to arrest him, saying “I have done nutin wrong”.
Either way, it looks like Musa will be thumbing his nose at Barrow and all Belizeans for some time to come.

In Belize an air conditioner is called a politician because it makes a lot of noise but doesn't work very well.

It's not all about who has the bigger dick, deck,,,

Another cold front. It’s in the hi 60’s again this morning! Global warming my ass! Tough to get outa the sack. Another temp indicator is when Scurvy leaves the spaciousness of his new deck and comes inside to curl up. He was in this morning! Packed into Mrs. Barn’s Coleman camp chair! Yep, our furniture consists of a folding camp chair. No overstuffed lazy boy’s here. No super huge flat screens either. She sits on the camp chair and I use the Mennonite school chair. Truthfully tho, we used to have all of it. Back in Denver we had a nice split level(3 floors) house. A hot tub in the back, 2 cars, many motorcycles, a camping trailer and my garage was the coolest clubhouse in the area! Fully carpeted, killer sound system, a combo of forced air and infra red heat, beer fridge, phone, all of it! And we had weekends to play. The hobby we were in last was raising Cichlids.

Tropical fish from Africa. Our basement had 10 or so 55 gallon ‘breeder’ tanks, and the main show tank up stairs was a 200 gallon beauty! It was 7x2x2.

Dinner last night was stewed pork and pertaters. Greg’s double thick chops are very versatile!

I can make many different meals with them. And of course Scurvy loves the bones.

Here is a youtube video that may help clear up some questions about dicks, decks!

I’d be happy to go on the wagon if I could find one with a bar.
