She's got legs, knows how to use 'em,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

A couple quick updates as we ease into the weekend.
First, Doris sez she saw the little dog just a few minutes ago running with her pack. If that is true, maybe either he got tired of Scurvy, Scurvy got tired of him, the rest of that pack don’t like Scurvy, who knows, we will never know anyway. Scurvy is back to lounging around here and I like that best.
Doris don’t need no fancy-schmancy neon sign in front of her place to let you know it’s open, tuday! Brodies ain’t got nutin on Maya Point Market!

The A.C. is down in the Hilux. We have a date with Spanish Lookout to get ‘er fixed up. It’s friggin H-O-T as of late and we have been spoiled. I tell people how this is the first truck in my life with AC, and we have not turned it off yet! Well, maybe we wore it out but we want it back! Driving the road with the windows open just gets you and everything else filthy. And think of the sufferin poor 'ol Scurvy has to endure! I like looking in the mirror and seeing his hair blowin in the cool breeze, with a big grin on his yapper.
So we are going to make a week end out of it.
Take a break in Cayo, shoot lots of much needed new photos as well.
We have some folks moving into La Casa de Barnacle while we are gone so as to keep the animals alive and the bad guys at bay.
Whooo hooo,, road trip!

Also, in case you missed it, Lola has a shout out for someone to adopt a cat of hers.
Get it before the Chiney does!

Speaking of animals, them gotdamn geckos are still procreatin. Here is proof.

He's got 'er in a 3 point lock-down!

And here's the results.

On that note,, see ya next week.

I'm fairly sure a letter to Dear Abby signed “Want To Leave the Bum, But Can’t” was written by my liver.

Things, they keep a changin,,,,,,,,,

As we drove to the village on Tuesday we notice survey crews plotting and pounding in little stakes in the mud. This is the very first sign of any progress I have seen yet! Maybe, one day,,,,,,,,,,,

Tuesday night was a storm to remember! The lightning and thunder were incredible! One lightning strike took out our TV. It appears everything else survived. Scurvy was all the way under the bed! Fuzz and the little dog seemed OK to just sleep thru it?

Speaking of the little dog, here’s an update.
He’s gone.
Yep, he went out yesterday with Scurvy and never came back. The whole event comes into some suspicion I think. Here’s what happened.
I let Scurvy out in the mornings and he goes and does his business somewhere and makes the rounds thru the Breach. He is almost always back an hour or two later. Then he lounges around here the rest of the day.
With his new little buddy, he was staying gone a bit longer. I figured since he had such short legs, Scurvy was waiting for him a lot.
Well yesterday I never seen them all day.
I had been driving up and down the road trying to find them but had no luck.
Around 4 in the afternoon Scurvy came home, alone and missing his collar. No sign of the little dog yet.
So, we conjured up a theory.
Someone snatched them, had them tied up, and Scurvy was able to slip his collar and make a break for home.
I don’t like to think of other possibilities.
We hope the little guy is OK wherever he is. And he is welcome back here anytime.

I got nothing against mankind, it's people I can't stand

Anyone know this dog,,,?

Scurvy’s got a new buddy. He has had many over the years. They seem to come and go.
This little guy showed up here about a week ago and has not left! Word on the street is that it’s possible that his owner is a temp worker somewhere in the area and just leaves his dog behind when he leaves.
So, he is welcome to stay here, I guess. Him and Scurvy get along fine and Fuzznutts even enjoys him. The 2 of them take turns chasing each other. Fun to watch.
The trouble with him meeting new dogs is that they tend to go on walk-abouts for hours. Kinda like, “come on,, let me show you the sights”.
Scurvy has always been his own dog. Never been tied up, very seldom requires a leash,. He spends his nights on our deck, other than that, I hope he teaches the new guy well. Don't have a name for him. I been calling him Sparky?
Looks like if no one claims him, he’s a new member o de pack. We’ll see.

I have a born-on date tattooed on my beer gut.
