Where in the phuck have I been?
Well, that’s a good question. I have not been anywhere really, just sorta lost interest in the blog for a bit. Nothing very exciting going on and that can make it hard to dream up shit, but here we go again.
I made a few trips to Denver to check on big momma.
Her dementia is getting worse all the time. And with her failing health, I guess you could say she is ‘circling the drain’.
Her she is modeling my new helmet.
Last trip to Denver I cut off all my hair!
Yep, should have done it years ago. Too bad I had just that day bought a big bottle of shampoo!
I swear I’m 10 lbs lighter.
My favorite bar just got a face lift!
Mango’s got all new thatch, new stairs, new parking facility, and tonight I will see what is new inside.
I have been staying home the last 3 weeks as they were closed so yea, I’m phuckin ready for a night out!
Maybe gather up some gossip?
Our business is for sale, did I mention that? Some bites but nothing worth mentioning. We are in for the long haul, we don’t hate what we do so if it takes a while to sell, we’re OK.
We are going to build casa del Barnacle across the road and move in there while turning our house into the third rental it was originally planned to be, and we will manage the 3 rentals from over there.
Plan seems to change with every case of whiskey.
Put a new seat on my bike. A Brooks B-17.
Hand made leather from the UK, this same model has been made since 1860! That’s when they patented it. I thought it was pretty cool, and I read it is the Rolls Royce of seats(once you break it in).
I remember seeing a can or Mark Remover the custodians would use to get the black scuff marks off the school floors. We had a can we would use to spray on our foreman who was named Mark.
Now it seems WD-40 has jumped on the ‘Spray Mark’ band wagon as well.
Sitting here the other night and the dog starts growling. What the phuck! I go out and find this dude in the tree right next to our deck!
It’s a Mexican porcupine.
Who knew they climbed trees?
