A surprise birthday party at The Lost Reef resort is what got us moving. Now that the road is paved there is hardly any excuse for not going. And to go north is nice for a change.
We did go to Belmopan on Friday but that’s a story I don’t want to re-hash.
Lost Reef has always been a fun place. I think the crowd that gathers are mostly from the north area and we do not know many of them. They have great food, great atmosphere, great employees, plenty of cold beer and rums, and just a fun time all around.
During this party a pool volleyball game busted open. Not as much cheating as one would expect but some questionable maneuvers for sure.
Final verdict, go out of your way if need be but swing in and check it out,,, if you have not. Or just stop as you head to or from the Southern. You won’t be sorry!
