Ahhhhhhhhh,, phone sex!

If we were to get into the Way Back machine and dial in July 1999 you would see us standing near the dirt road watching the power company install poles. That was sweet as we could now dump the generators and batteries and plug in like the rest of you. Plus they told us that since the poles were going in, phone lines should follow quickly. That was 1999.
Fast forward to now and you will see we now have cable T.V., water service (somewhat) internet, but still no phone lines.
Around the same time the phone company installed a ‘fixed cell’ phone here for us.

It looks like a Wii game with a tiny car antenna on the roof. That thing has worked flawlessly since day one! At one point we had all this plugged into it,, phone/fax machine, answering machine, 2 credit card machines. Works like a hot-dam.

Internet really sucked tho.
Then BTL offered us their new wireless internet plus phone. We jumped on board. Much better internet speed plus a phone. The fixed cell remained for the fax and CC machines.
Everything was cruising along just fine.
Then,,, BTL wants to update their service to CDMA. I googled it up to learn a bit more about it and found out this is how you pronounce it,, cee-dee-em-eh,, must be a Canadian outfit?
Anyway,,, today shows up 5 BTL guys with some new gear. It all installs fairly simple,, put a guy on the roof to add the new antenna and plug it all in.
A few tweeks and whacks and it works,, cept we can’t use our cordless,, yet. They are looking into why it won’t work, its suppose to.
I am reliably told that the combination of these 2 antenna’s on the same galvanized pole will allow me to communicate with the space station.

And if we get their new upgrade for the internet, we can send e-mails back in time!
Won’t that be fun?

And then that tramp Barbie discovers phone sex!

Judging from her expression, she likes his bandwidth!

The problem is that the frequency is too close with your cordless phone a 2.4ghz or 5ghz phone would fix that.

Form a cannon guy ;)
