Scurvy is back to his old smiling, fun-lovin self. Although he got really spooked today. We took him over to the Phlea market to let him sniff some shit and when he saw this 10-12 ft snake skin he kinda freaked out!

He was backing up, growling and shit and he wouldn’t get any closer. Now he don’t act that way around small snakes, so maybe he has run into a big one before?
It was pretty funny.
I had the good fortune to have a cute young girl staying here for the last ten days. She allowed me to try out the new lens as a portrait lens.

I liked the results.
Whenever a cute, young thing is in da Breach, you can just watch all the horn-dogs emerge. Young and old, they start to gather. The young ones I can understand. They might stand a chance. But the old ones are just pathetic.
And I tested the new fisheye lens by shooting a fisheye. I was expecting the results to cancel each other out somehow, like it would look like a telephoto lens or something. Or even just a blank frame. But that’s not the case. I have my lens so close to the fish head I have to be careful not to get fish slime on the glass! The ‘ol ‘objects in lens are closer than they appear’.

I think that's a sabre-toothed tiger from the Pleistocene period!
Can't blame ol' Scurvy. I'd be freaked out by a 12ft snake, too.
