Whelp, 25 years ago on a mountain pass in Colorado we got
married.
It was Rawlins pass and the marry-er was the judge from
Grand Lake.
It was actually a week ago but hey,, I’m a bit late.
Now of those 25 years, 15 of them have been in Belize, in a
house that makes OJ’s cell seem huge!
Let’s just say we have gotten to know each other pretty
well.
There are lots of reason marriages last, here are a couple
that work for us.
When you are wrong, admit it. When you are right, shut up!
Anyway,, we look forward to the next 25!
My mom has a set of mixing bowls she has had for ever and
wants me to have them. I have been putting off bringing them home in my
suitcase because they are usually full. Well this trip I said phuckit, and
decided to mail them. Not much weight, maybe 5 lbs? 4 glass mixing bowls that
fit inside each other.
Similar to these.
I had them boxed up and bubblewrapped at the box store and
hauled them to the post office.
Get this,, 220.00$ to mail them to Belize!!
So my happy ass went over to the UPS store,, 550.00$!!
So they went right back under the bed till next year.

If you haven't killed each other by now, the next 25 will be a piece of cake.

Happy Anniversary. I like your philosophy on why a marriage lasts. I will post that one on my fridge for my husband to see. We will celebrate our 30th year in 2014. It takes courage and a great wine cellar to keep everything on course. A toast to you both.
