It’s now been five days.
I didn’t expect it and I am not sure how much longer we can hold on.
Things are beginning to look pretty bleak, tempers are high, and moods low as well.
Even ran out of the weekly allotment of beer!
How much more do they think we can take??
Last Friday night we had the mother of all lightning storms. There musta been 10 Kaboomers that made my butt clinch, and Mrs. Barn jump about a foot off the bed!
We don’t think we have seen one more spectacular than this one.
Well, I got the computer all shut down and unplugged, but I did not get the T.V.
And subsequently, we lost the TV, DVD player, phone and something with the internet system.
We have been waiting on BTL since.
She has a couple inquiries pending and those folks may think we are just ignoring them.
Pretty hard to run a business without the internet.
Nor can I check any news. Hell for all I know the Eye-Rackeys could have invaded the Vatican!
Also lost out on the weekly photo contest, can’t vote or judge,,, bummer.
We pack up the laptop and head for Mango’s but you can imagine what that turns into.
And so we wait,,,,,,
In the meantime, here is another photo of the USS Meyerkord (my old ship) hanging out with the battleship New Jersey! Pretty cool!
And here is what it would look like from a helo as those nine 16in guns fired!
That has got to be loud!!
