The times they are a changing,,,

Just when things get nice and comfortable, something has got to change. And sometimes it’s for the better, sometimes not.
You get all comfy in a particular bar and WHAM they change owners/managers. Right in mid-beer!
Just get a new set of shocks and wheel bearings put in the truck, they pave the road.
Fall in love with the tamales at a certain road side choke and barf, boom, her cart gets stolen.
You have to remain flexible I tell ya.
There is rumors floating round up here, bouncing is more like it. But they concern our existing Chinese store and the possibility of another.
Everybody and I mean EVERYBODY loves the store now and the folks who run it, and would rather not see it change.
But that may not be the case.
There are talks of a new store combined with a gas station being built by other Chinese folks.
And the rumors are getting out of hand.
I am taking the stand of sitting back and wait to see what really happens. I’ll fill you in when I know more.

If you don’t drink, then all of your stories suck and end with, “And then I got home".

I'm all for the gas station part

Apparently they are building without any approval at all. It would be cool to have closer gas, but not at the possible environmental price if a hurricane or earthquake should occur.

I talked to Sue yesterday. She said she was closing down if they open. I told her not to do that. We will boycott the other store. We like Kenny and Sue and they are very nice and acommidating business owners. I asked why the Chinee's open stores across from each other and she said, "I doe no make no sense toe me." So My boycott is on. Any takers?

Brother Bill,

You have to remember the Chinese here are one big happy family. (Don't know how much about the happy part)

But yes Elvis who owns the lot where they are building the new store is related to Gracie and the others from what I understand.

Heard the same rumor about them selling Gasoline. That would be great since I won't have to drive all the way down to Placencia. As long as they use the proper equipment for safety standards so our wonderful community does not get polluted or blown to smithereens. Heard the U.S. EPA is on the way to perform a presite inspection and review.
