Went to town this morning and after all the rain last night, the road was SNOT! But the crews were out working on it. Looked like they may have hit another water pipe down by Serenity. Big ponds all over with busted PVC floating in them.




I have another restaurant review for ya. I may have mentioned it before but I’m a lazy phuck so I did’nt go back to check.
Omar’s Creole Grub! Right on the road just south of M&M hardware. We have ate there a few times and it has always been a good meal, lots of food to boot! Today we both had Curry chicken, stewed rice and beans. 8$ each and well worth it! Give it a try, if you have not already.

No new bat photos. Last night was a rain-out. And tonight looks to be another wet one. Plus, I am heading to Mango’s on a gossip run. The bats will just have to wait.

Something new going on. Lonely Planet guide books is sponsoring a ‘best travel blog’ competition.

Contrary: Hungover? Hell, I’m still drunk.
Defensive: You try mixing Thunderbird and rotgut whiskey and see how you feel.
Disdainful: Something has to fill in those nasty little valleys between benders.
Literary: Between grief and nothing, I choose grief.
Optimistic: Not as soon as the four Bloody Mary’s I had for breakfast kick in.
Politicly Correct: Hangover is such a hurtful word. I prefer Post-Party Syndrome. I’m the victim here.
