Looks like it’s going to shape into a fine day tho. Suns poking out and clear skys.
From the sounds of it, the mistletoe ball was a hit. We could hear the band at our house! That’s about 1 ½ mile away.
We had a big event ourselves last night. Mrs. Barn, me and our friends from denver wet to dinner at Danube. If you have not been there yet you should go. The building is very nicely done and Herb and Sim could not be better hosts! And if you have never experienced Austrian food, you will love this!
We started with the garlic soup. Oh got dam that was good!
Then the plates in front of us consisted of Goulash, chicken breasts, Snitzel and sausage dumplings.
Mrs. Barn and I couldn’t finish ours and had to get doggie bags but we also got dessert to go. A slab of chocolate cake that looks incredible! And some chocolate dumplings for me. Those all get taken care of today and will report back later.
Give Danube a try. You won’t be sorry! Good job Herb and Sim!!
But when we reached back home we found another beach BBQ taking place right here at ‘Che Barnacle.
An unauthorized BBQ I might add. We don’t allow fires on the beach for various reasons and this one, tho well supervised, was just,,, wrong. On many levels.
And I don’t know where Hannibal got that grass skirt either.
You’re having a little trouble reading this because the bar’s lighting sucks and you’re kinda loaded.
