Went to town and brought back nothing but groceries. No gossip what-so-ever.
We did see CornDog Ron, he said “those dogs didn’t have a full blanket.” OK, I will agree with that. I did have a slight issue making the batter stick to the puppies, but I will resolve that. Bought 2 cans of wieners yesterday. Not Tulip brand but DAK. We’ll see. I did notice that the expiration date on the cans was the same date that the Maya calendar runs out! Coincidence? I think not.

We are all decked out!! You heard me, it’s done! We gave it a bit of a stress test last night.
I have nothing but good things to say about our man Vanencio. This is the man who will build our next house, if that time ever arrives. You can tell he takes pride in his work. He treats his tools with respect as well as the 2 young boys he had with him. These 2 teenage helpers were getting a sound education from him. That’s good to see.
Now the next time that guy from “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” comes round to bug us, we will have something new to show him. (he bugs us a lot about any updates we may have made)
We may make the cover of ‘Elegant Caribbean Living Monthly’! Me, on the deck, holding a frosty Belikin, pinky extended. Maybe I should pour it in a glass? Scurvy whizzing on a corner post,,, I can see it now!
Why-o-why did we not do this 10 years ago? Our entire house is 16x20, now the deck is 12x16! It is way nice!!
