Of dis-n-dat,,,,,

Sounds like some of you up north are getting some interesting weather, and I feel for ya. Both snow and cold are 4 letter words! This prompted me to add the little weather gadget to the blog. As close as I could get was BZ city, but I will snoop around for something closer to me.

A couple interesting things have been happening with our current guests. First, 3 out of the last 4 guests arriving via American Airlines, have lost their luggage? Sure, some has been related to weather delays but 3 outa 4??
One couple was stopped at a police checkpoint and since he did not have his driving license with him the cops took his passport and held it until he returned to show his license!
Other recent guests were out in the kayak when 4 dolphins came right up to them, almost within reach!

It appears that Hertz has their car rental biz going now at the airstrip. Saw a couple bright yellow little Suzuki cars sitting there a few days ago.
Speaking of the road,,, the crews went home last week. Albert has been down as well. I don’t think I have heard a dump truck in days!!!!! It is sooooooo freekin nice!

Lots of ‘seasonal’ residents here this time of year. Look for some small house parties springin’ up!











New music will be poppin into the juke box with more regularity now that the 1 terabyte hard drive has been installed. (thanks Thor!) Having all my music right here at hand makes it easy.
Some new ones in there right now, Xmas-ey stuff.
And in case anybody is curious, I am completely sold on terabyte hard drives! I put all my music and photos on this honker and still have over 700 gigs left!!! Prices will no doubt drop, get yerself one.


As you can see, both photos and gossip news have been stagnant as of late.
